Previously, I had posted a picture where elephants were sharing a state highway along with motor vehicles and these two photos are from that same series. It'll be too harsh on ourselves if I say- It only happens in India, but, such huge animals rolling on highways pose genuine threat to their own lives and also other vehicles passing by them. Only bright side of the story was the under-maintained road could hardly throw any challenge to the royal elephantine motion, while we road-tax paying vehicle owners take the blow and sulk over the callousness of our government.

ReplyDeleteExactly Prasad... they're living road-rollers or bulldozers :-P
DeleteNext thing you know, the government will be blaming the elephants for making potholes in roads.
ReplyDeleteI see much logic in your soothsaying :-(
DeleteNice clicks!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot :-)
DeleteReminds me the elephant i had the fortune to see near Tirumala Temple. For a banana and Rs.10 each, it blesses all the lesser mortals, with its magestic trunk on our heads.
ReplyDelete:D
I can only imagine what if that mighty elephant gets a sneezing reflex while blessing you :-O :-D :-P
