There are few jetty lamps, a cloud surrounded moon and a highly illuminated statue (of Rajiv Gandhi) from left to right, in their actual order. Which one do you think is the brightest bulb on the porch? Well, I know my call and I wonder how people consider the moonlight to be dim! The location is Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex of Port Blair, a fun place to spend your late evening while observing the dark sea at one side and the half of the Port Blair population jogging religiously at the other side. If you visit the same park cum jetty in the day time you can enjoy various water sports like water scooter, banana ride, speed boat, or, buy a ticket for island hopping (to nearby sister islands by regular boats), snorkeling, scuba-diving etc. The evening ambiance of the water sports complex was so conducive that for a moment it convinced me to buy a slice of space and relocate to Port Blair! Anyway, back to the original query, which is the brightest bulb on the porch?

Of course the natural bulb is the brightest no man made can be brighter :) Nice capture!
ReplyDeleteExactly... that was my call too... thanks Shweta :-))
DeleteLovely pic.
ReplyDeleteFor once..man made lamps seem to out-shine the God-made..!The moon is in a hide and seek mode. :P
Thanks Manogna... If you watch properly you'll see the span of bright moonlight over the water is much much broader than those artificial lamps... so my call was 'moon' :-))
DeleteThe lamps...brighter but not better...the moon looks reflective...no matter what we can never undermine the radiance in nature...
ReplyDeleteRightly said my friend... but If you watch properly you'll see the span of bright moonlight over the water is much much broader than those artificial lamps... so my call was 'moon' :-))
