Frasergunj is a beach town in South 24-parganas district, West Bengal. Other than the busy fishing harbor if anything attracts you there that has to be the long queue of sleepy windmills near the beach. Although India is the world's fifth largest wind power producer, unfortunately, my state West Bengal is nowhere in the scene despite its favorable geography, while leading states are Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra etc. As a prime obligation to this green planet let us focus more and condition our minds towards different renewable sources of energy. Amen.

DeleteAmazing clicks! Is it near Diamond Harbour
ReplyDeleteDiamond harbor is roughly mid-way between Kolkata and Frasergunj... it's adjacent to Bakkhali :-)
DeleteName of this town is filmy, isn't it? I hope our country use this method more for producing electricity. Nice click!
ReplyDeleteThanks Saru....I found an element of sedation in the name itself :-P
DeleteWonderful shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rajesh :-)
DeleteSo I think you went from Bakkkhali to Frasergunj...isn't it ? ....have you visited Henry island ? if not ..do pay a visit next time when you're in Bakkhali... and do share such wonderful photographs... :-)
ReplyDeleteYes you guessed it right Maniparna.... it was a motorcycle trip covering Bakkhali, Gangasagar, Digha :-)
DeleteHenry Island was the worst thing in that trip and other than people struggling in mud-walks and yellow/blue crabs there was nothing to photograph in Henry island :-(
Looks like an impending alien attack from War of the Worlds...
