Bathing time is Over for the Day

Bathing time is Over for the Day
The Gangasagar beach is quite dirty due to over enthusiastic pilgrims and thousands of rituals conducted over the beach throughout the day. Many won't like it but being a nature lover I must say, religion (it's not the religion but the religious blindness actually) is ruining the beautiful beaches of Sagardwip island and polluting the sea water. Anyway, if you ever visit there make sure not to contribute to the natural damage. I tried to overlook the otherwise garbage-scattered beach of Gangasagar and found some colorful sunset silhouettes of busy pilgrims. By the way, which site can be a holier alternative for worshiping God than your own mind?

  1. Excellent snap. This place was a heaven for any nature lover. Sad to see its present state. Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thanks Gowtham... I'm glad to meet another blogger who's bothered by such things :)

  2. Besides garbage, I hate the hanging wires. There are so many wires. We start putting wires around as if there is no tomorrow. Phew
